Developmental Education
Because we know that children are individuals with unique learning styles and timetables for growth, at Chance we offer a developmental education program. We stress learning as an active process, meeting children at their own levels of learning regardless of age and grade, optimizing growth and achievement.
We recognize that children advance through definable, fluid stages of development, and each child progresses in his/her own unique way and time. When we support these stages and respect individual learning styles, children develop healthy self-esteem and self-discipline.
Valuing childhood as a key stage of life is at the core of our developmental program. Childhood should be nurtured with patience, not rushed. Therefore at Chance, the faculty creates learning experiences that are meaningful, relevant, achievable, yet challenging. In this context, a child develops a healthy attitude about learning.
