And the success of our program is clear, in the authentic assessment students receive at Chance, their performance on national standardized tests, and their achievement at next schools. Our success is also validated through our accreditation with top national organizations and governing bodies.

At Chance, we concentrate on increasing students’ learning by using authentic assessment. This type of assessment is performed regularly by teachers and focuses on the development of the whole child – cognitively, socially, emotionally, morally, and physically. It looks at the daily work and experiences of students and recognizes it as part of the process of learning – a snapshot within a bigger picture.
