Challenge for Chance

We invite you to join us in supporting this exceptional community and give to our 2021 Challenge for Chance campaign because we believe that where you start matters. You are important to our Virginia Chance School family. Your children are important. Your contribution is important. The Challenge for Chance runs from mid-September through December 31st and your contribution is tax-deductible.

Since 1958, Virginia Chance School has provided an ideal place for children to develop a lifelong love of learning. Through our integrated, hands-on, progressive program, we help each child reach their full potential. As our world is changing, our students learn valuable life skills and can be adaptable, creative, compassionate, and resilient individuals. 

Our 2021 Challenge for Chance campaign goal is to raise $125,000 so that we can continue to provide the best education and foundation for your children. Tuition only covers a portion of the cost to educate each child, and the remainder must come from fundraising. The amount needed to bridge the gap to educate each student is approximately $600. That is why each year, we ask you to consider donating $600 per child. Last year 40 families gave at our Leadership Level of $1,200 or above. Every donation counts, no matter what the amount. Please carefully consider what you can contribute—your donation matters. 

Your donation enhances the learning experience of all our students on campus. Your contributions have helped us provide SMARTboards, library books, playground enhancements, PE equipment, materials for our Learning Greenhouse, art supplies, sensory tables, and so much more! 

Your donation helps to fund much-needed technology and equipment, enabling us to grow our learning programs and expand our virtual teaching capabilities to overcome any barriers to learning that may arise. It keeps us connected, competitive, and forward-thinking. 

Your donation helps us keep our tuition rates competitive and offers assistance and financial aid to those who need it.
