Ashley Goff

PE Assistant

I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville. I hold current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.

I began my teaching career as a gymnastics instructor at a local gym. There I got my first experience learning how to teach to multiple levels of students as well as multiple ages. From there I transitioned into a part-time preschool and homeschool co-op teacher. In these positions, my focus was primarily in the preschool age. My primary responsibility for these positions was to create and execute a curriculum that focused on learning through play with a whole group's intrinsic flow.

My experiences in these roles have taught me the importance of creating a safe, welcoming, and fun place for students to be, learn, and be a part of. I find joy in my ability to get kids moving and watching them work their minds to learn new and exciting things.  My style of teaching is

focused, fun, and engaging, while requiring a level of respect and care from each child.

My husband is also in the education field. We together have two children, ages 13 and 10. I volunteer as a cross country/track assistant coach for my daughter's school. I am excited to be a part of Chance School Athletics!
