I am a graduate of Bellarmine University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I began my career in banking and then transitioned into Sales, Marketing, and Fund-Raising. Before joining Virginia Chance School, I was the Corporate Philanthropy Manager at the Kentucky Science Center, where I managed our major fund-raising events, Science with a Twist and ThunderBlast. Prior to that, I worked as both a Community Health Director and Heart Ball Development Associate for the American Heart Association. I have over 25 years of collective sales and fund-raising experience.
As Director of Development at Chance School, I am responsible for managing our fund-raising efforts, including overseeing Challenge for Chance and the Auction. I also have the pleasure of working closely with our Board members, committees, and parent volunteers.
I have always enjoyed working with children. I am a Sunday school teacher, was a dance teacher for many years and have professional experience working with schools through Market Day Corporation and the American Heart Association. I am excited and honored to bring my background and experience to help support the wonderful family that is Virginia Chance School.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 20 years and our two children, Kayla, 19 and Brogan, 13. My greatest joy comes from watching them grow, learn, achieve their goals, and become successful compassionate individuals. I also enjoy volunteering at our church and my son’s school whenever possible. I love books, music, traveling, and attending concerts and sporting events with my family.
