Business Office Assistant
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Russian State University of Humanities and a Certification/Diploma in Hospitality Business from Georgian State Hospitality Collage. I recently completed a Certification Course in Project Management and the entry-level Certification Course for Auto CAD. My education and work background is quite diverse. Life has so much to offer I refuse to stop on one thing and always try to be curious and learn as much as I can.
For several years I worked in the Hospitality Industry and absolutely enjoyed meeting new people, helping others, and making a difference. After, I shifted my career towards project management and accounting. I love working with numbers; I find it mentally satisfying. I love the challenge of analyzing numbers, using financial formulas, and calculating metrics. I have over a decade of experience in bookkeeping/accounting within the hospitality, tourism, construction, consulting, aviation industries, and now at Virginia Chance School.
I am thrilled to be a part of Virginia Chance School. Our wonderful teachers and progressive learning style provide a positive and long-lasting impact on children.
I was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. Georgia is a country located at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. I was 18 when I came to America as an exchange student. I lived with a host family, helped them take care of the children, and in return, I was given an opportunity to attend the local college, learn all about American culture, and visit new places. Years later, I met my future husband, and America became my home. Our family is also quite diverse-you can hear many different languages being spoken in our house. I am fluent in three languages, English, Georgian, and Russian, and am currently working on my Arabic to better communicate with my husband’s family in Iraq. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 5-year-old daughter. We love visiting parks, cooking, reading, building puzzles, playing board games, watching movies, and getting together with our family and friends.
