Chance Derby Celebration

Families are invited to join us for the Chance Derby Celebration, a festive spring tradition inspired by our Louisville community and the excitement of Derby season.

Preschool and elementary students will take part in the Chance Derby Parade, wearing favorite track-inspired attire and sharing Derby-themed crafts as they parade around the upper carpool lot. Families are welcome to bring camp chairs, enjoy the celebration, and cheer on our students.

Following the parade, we will gather for a special fifth-grade rite of passage: the Fifth Grade Derby Foot Race. Fifth-grade parents are invited to escort their students along the final stretch of the parade as we celebrate this meaningful milestone.

Class photos will be taken under the arch, and families are welcome to take their own photos as well.

Parking will be available in the soccer field. Please use caution when crossing Lime Kiln Lane at the crosswalk. Families needing parking accommodations should contact the school in advance.

If you plan to take your child home early following the celebration, please see a teacher to sign them out.
