What is Time, Talent, & Treasure?

This is Chance’s way of honoring the many ways families can support our school— through their Time by volunteering, Talent sharing their professional skills or hobbies with the school, or Treasure, contributing funds, materials, or other resources to the school. We value every form of involvement, and each contribution makes a difference!

What’s New?

Volunteers who participate in the following ways will receive a special invitation to join our end-of-year celebrations!

Participate in 5 or more volunteer events during the school year -OR-
Lead or co-lead a major volunteer initiative or event (i.e. Classroom Ambassadors, Chance Family Association, Coaching, etc.)

In addition, donors who contribute $2,500 or more during the 2025–2026 school year will receive an invitation to our end-of-year celebration, where we celebrate the incredible generosity that helps our school and students thrive.

Join Chance in re-establishing our Chance Family Association (CFA)- your voice counts! This is the Chance version of a Parent Association or Parent Council.

Classroom Ambassadors - A new “look” this year!

Classroom Ambassadors (CAs) are Chance’s version of Room Parents. CAs will support teachers with in-classroom events, special activities, and Teacher Appreciation Week.

New! The Community Engagement Facilitator, Nicole McKendrick, will take on community-wide parent communication and some off-campus meet-ups and playdates, so parents can focus on the in-classroom fun! Learn more at our Annual CA Kick-Off Meeting! Details coming soon.

Lost & Found

Our Lost & Found Volunteer helps keep our community organized and generous! This parent picks up unclaimed items from the Lost & Found, washes them as needed (washer and dryer available at VCS), and drops them off at a local donation center. It's a flexible role with meaningful purpose—turning forgotten items into acts of kindness!

Fall Festival - October

Volunteer to help with Trunk or Treat, the Pumpkin Trebuchet, Cake Walk, and more! Shifts are available, so you may enjoy the event as well! This is a nut-free event. Event specific Sign-ups to come!
