Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Marketing Manager to bring our school’s story to life through consistent, high-quality content and communications.

You will be responsible for social media marketing, a school-wide newsletter, event-based social posting, and event collateral design, working closely with the Advancement Director, who drives the overarching strategy.

Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)

Flexible schedule with required on-campus presence and event coverage (some weekend hours required- usually just swing by for a short community connection event to capture social content and post)

Hourly or salaried, based on experience.


Responsibilities:

Content & Social Media
 Manage and maintain a consistent social media presence
 Capture and share real, day-to-day moments from school life
 Distill classroom experiences into engaging parent-facing content, from classroom newsletters
 Ensure alignment with the school’s brand voice and tone

Design & Creative
 Create marketing materials (digital and print)
 Design graphics for events, announcements, and communications
 Maintain visual consistency across all platforms

Weekly Communications
 Produce and distribute the weekly school e-newsletter
 Coordinate content across departments for the newsletter
 Ensure communications are clear, timely, and polished

Community Event Coverage
 Attend key school events to capture photo/video content (event calendar available for review)
 Share real-time and post-event social media coverage
 Highlight the energy and connection within the school community

Skills Needed
 Strong visual eye and instinct for storytelling
 Clear, engaging writing/editing skills
 Highly organized and detail-oriented
 Comfortable with Canva, Video Editor of your choice, and similar creative tools
 Able to work independently and follow through consistently
 Enjoys being present in a school environment and at community events
