Stephanie Lamping

Stephanie Lamping is the parent of two VCS alumni, Gabe and Mimi, and a former trustee who served as board secretary and treasurer. She also stepped in as Interim Head of School during the 2020–2021 school year. Stephanie is honored to contribute to the selection of a new Head of School and shares her motivation this way: “While I believe in progressive education and the role that small, vibrant independent schools play in the broader educational ecosystem, at my core, I serve VCS out of gratitude for the unique role this community has played in the lives of my children and family, and out of a deep desire to see the VCS mission flourish for future generations.”

 

Stephanie earned a BS in engineering from Purdue University and an MS from Stanford University. She brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit leadership and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University New England.
