Spanish Specialist

I am beginning my third year as the Spanish Specialist at Virginia Chance School, after teaching Spanish and French for 13 years. I am a native of Venezuela and bring my passion for the language and Spanish culture to our elementary students! I am a KY Certified Teacher in both Spanish and French. I graduated from Experimental Pedagogical University "Libertador " Pedagogical Institute of Caracas in Education with a specialty in French.

In 2014, I moved to the United States and faced a new stage and challenge in life to learn this new culture and language. I am married and have two children, and when I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, Oscar and Amaia. I also enjoy reading, singing, listening to music, traveling, and working in my small fashion business.

I am delighted and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this prestigious school, and you will see that I have great passion and enthusiasm for each of my students!
